African Human Development Centre (AHDC), a non-governmental, research and development organization dedicated to the development of African human resources, in partnership with Women and Orphans Empowerment organizations (WEWE) is implementing USAID-funded LOPIN II (Local Partners Initiative for Orphans and Vulnerable Children Project) in Etinan Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
The objective of the project is to improve systems and structures at the communities, LGA and State levels to provide for vulnerable children and their households in Etinan LGA with integrated quality care.
AHDC requires the services of experienced professionals to strengthen its service delivery on the project. Accordingly, applications are invited from qualified persons to fill the position below:
Job Title: Data Entry Officer
Location: Etinan LGA, Akwa Ibom State
Duration: 1 year subject to renewal
Responsibilities
- Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry
- Manage NOMIS database and other database of the team, maintain the backup of NOMIS
- Assist the M&E officer in compilation of Monthly and Quarterly M&E report
Qualification and Experience Required
- A minimum of University degree or HND in statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or Pure Sciences
- Strong computer skills (should know how to use MS Excel for data analysis, MS word and Power point)
- Very Strong report writing skills
- Analytical skills
- Fluency in both written and oral English
- 2-3 years of experience in similar or related position will be an added advantage
