Reliance HMO is a technology driven health insurance company that has integrated technology into every sphere of health-care management. The company started in 2017 with a vision of using technology to make insurance accessible and easy to use.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Back End Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment type: Full-time
Reports to: Chief Technology Officer

What is the role?

• As a Back-end developer you will work with a team building and/or optimizing our innovative healthcare management systems.
• You will work with the development team to create user-oriented and high performance applications.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Laravel (This is the framework we use)
• Proficiency in PHP as well (Some in-house apps are built from ground up; without any framework)
• Proficiency in SQL (Writing raw queries, using joins, optimisations techniques, etc)
• Working experience with RESTFUL web services (Building and consuming)
• Adherence to best practices (Writing usable and maintainable code, writing tests, code versioning).

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years coding experience.
