Roles and responsibilities
- Provide line troubleshooting support to Asset teams on Mechanical and Rotating Equipment maintenance activities
- Provide support to corporate initiatives in the Asset.
- Prepares scope of work for major overhauls of turbines, pumps, compressors, vessel desanding and other related jobs to be executed by contractors.
- Projects Analysis, Evaluation, Execution and Management.
- Prepares the monthly Technical Integrity Report for Asset
- Supervises pre-mobilization of contractors and maintain project management controls to ensure that all Mechanical and Rotating Equipment works are carried out according to standards and all HSSE controls are strictly adhered to.
- Advises the Head, Asset Maintenance of changes to programmed works and to prepare preliminary work schedules for future work.
- Maintains a close working relationship and lines of communication with Asset Co-ordinators and Team Leaders, Supply Chain Management , and campaign teams to ensure that all work is carried out to the requirements.
- Participate in the sharing and identification of best practices across the Asset.
- Prepares monthly performance reports of related activities and ensures that weekly reports on progress are submitted on time.
Qualification and Experience
- Incumbent shall have a University degree (BSc or equivalent) in Mechanical and/or Rotating Equipment disciplines
- 10 years practical experience in oil and gas production maintenance may be acceptable in lieu
- A professionally qualified maintenance operations Engineer with 10 years experience.
- Work experience 8- 10 years experience
- Should have a good knowledge of his discipline and other maintenance disciplines.
