There are indications that the Federal Government is set to recruit massively into the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in order to meet local and international security challenges facing the country.
This is even as the Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro made public, plans to seek permission for additional hands into the Corps from the presidency. A move, which he said was geared towards deepening the operational services of the Corps, who have demonstrated absolute commitment and determination to bring to an end the insurgency that has bedeviled the country in recent times.
Comrade Moro who expressed satisfaction at the achievements of the NSCDC , at the just concluded Civil Defence Officers Summit in Sauka , Abuja, said the move, was a quick response to the recognition of the services of the Corps in averting security challenges in different parts of the country in 2012 .
The minister, who said that foreign bodies expected complete elimination of insecurity in the country, noted that internal security will be adequately handled by the Corps,

Sometimes, when I read what our so called "graduates" post.I almost applaud the fact that they are unemployed. If u take a look at their certificates,u might even see 2nd class upper on it,but in real life, their heads are so empty.shame on Nigerian educational system.

@mcbusy I agree with you, its appalling when someone who claims to be a graduate cannot even write a proper sentence. How won't u get overlooked and duped? My advice to the people who just murdered english above is this; go and develop yourselves, learn to speak and write PROPER ENGLISH and stop embarrassing other products of the nigerian educational system like myself!!!

Its a thing of joy flipping through recruitment/job notifications publicised by commissions, agencies and private organisations, but the most embarrassing thing therein is injustice and sentiment adopted in the process. I urge the authorities in question to fear God and believe fingers can never be equal come what may, hence recruitment exercises should be based on merit and not man-knows-man.
Finally, Lets' all have it at the back of our minds that there is nobody given birth to be a perfectionist, in case you see your fellow human being making grammatical blunder, it's our duty to bring him/her to order rather than mocking such person,be you graduate or not,we cant all be grammarians, self development is what makes you a graduate and not only moving round the four walls of a tertiary institution.
