Admission Requirements
In addition to departmental and UME requirements, Candidates must also possess the qualifications required hereunder:
Master Degree Programmes
- Candidates must possess a good honours degree not below 2 Class Lower of LAUTECH or that of any other recognized University.
- Candidates with 3 Class honour with a good Postgraduate Diploma of a minimum weighted score of 60% from LAUTECH or any other recognized University may also be considered for admission provided the University matriculation requirement is satisfied.
M.Phil and Ph.D programmes
Candidates must have a minimum score of 50% and 60% respectively in the Masters Degree work.
Duration of Programmes (Full Time)
Masters Degree Programme: Minimum of three (3) semesters and a maximum of five (5) semesters
M.Phil Programme: Minimum of four (4) semesters and a maximum of six (6) semesters
Ph.D Programme: Minimum of six (6) semesters and a maximum of seven and a half semesters.
Application Closing Date
All completed application forms with certified photocopy of certificates, diplomas including 0'Level Certificates, sealed reference reports, academic transcript and other relevant documents should reach the Secretary, Postgraduate School, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso not later than Thursday, February 14, 20.13.
