Job Title: 2D Illustrator/Comic Artist

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Job Description

• Genii Games Limited seeks the services of an experienced creative 2D illustrator/comic artist to join its team.

Responsibilities

• As a 2D Illustrator, your main responsibilities will include:
• Digital illustrations and paintings of comic styled works for various media including print and web
• Meet project milestones and deadline set by the team
• Work with the team in bringing ideas to life in a timely manner
• Work with existing graphic assets such as photos, illustrations
• Edit artworks for various purposes
• Prepare vector assets for animations and games.

Person Specification
In addition to the foregoing, candidate must demonstrate the following:

• Experienced in Adobe Illustrator software for vector designs as well as Adobe Photoshop software for bitmap designs
• Must be self-motivated and willing to work under pressure
• Must be committed to punctuality and adhere to given instructions
• Must be bursting with ideas and willing to try new things
• Committed to continuous learning and improvement of skills
• Ability to work with a drawing tablet (WACOM)
• Flexibility of illustration styles to suit defined themes such as Children, Culture etc.
• Ideal opportunity for an undergraduate, graduate or equivalent.
