Project Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack PHP Developer (Middle+, Senior level) to join a major international project in the business automation sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack web application development using PHP with CodeIgniter and WordPress.
• Design, develop, and integrate scalable and secure RESTful APIs.
• Create responsive and user-centric interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and AngularJS.
• Architect and optimize relational databases (MySQL) and work with NoSQL structures (MongoDB).
• Apply Git best practices for version control and collaborate via Jira, Slack, and Agile project management tools.
• Implement web application security measures in line with OWASP Top 10 guidelines.
• Conduct unit tests, code reviews, and ensure full-stack code quality and documentation standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional remote teams on sprint-based delivery cycles.

Requirements
Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred (or proven equivalent through real-world projects).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in professional web development (full-stack roles).
• Mandatory history of successful delivery in business-critical systems such as SaaS platforms, automation tools, CRM/ERP systems.
• Prior experience working remotely in international teams is essential.
• Proven ability to deliver on full-cycle projects (concept to production release).

Core Skills Required:

• Advanced PHP expertise (minimum 7 years professional experience; OOP, MVC patterns).
• CodeIgniter: deep customization and project delivery.
• WordPress: plugin development, theme customization (professional-level work, not hobby use).
• Front-End Mastery: HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, AngularJS, responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Database Management: complex MySQL schema design, optimization, query performance tuning.
• MongoDB: experience working with document-based NoSQL databases.
• REST API: full lifecycle development (design, integration, documentation).
• Git version control: strong branch management and pull request etiquette.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills in English (written and spoken).
• Self-management, proactive problem-solving, and accountability in remote environments.
• Agile/Scrum collaboration readiness.
• Cultural adaptability and client communication professionalism.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Basic server-side administration skills (Nginx/Apache).
• CI/CD pipeline familiarity (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines).
• Docker usage for local development environments.
• Basic AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS) exposure.
• Additional JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React) knowledge is a plus.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Range: N800,000 – N1,000,000 gross Monthly.
