We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Brand and Business Development Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Background

  • We are seeking an experienced and innovative Brand and Business Development Manager to champion brand expansion, drive new business opportunities, and position our brands at the forefront of their respective markets.

Purpose of the Role

  • The Brand and Business Development Manager will be responsible for growing brand awareness, leading market entry strategies, securing partnerships, and driving revenue growth. 
  • The role requires a strategic thinker who can blend branding expertise with business acumen to elevate the Group’s influence and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies across Zakaa, Perfume Privé, and IBB Golf.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms, locations, and customer touchpoints.
  • Monitor and analyze brand performance, customer perception, and market trends to adjust positioning strategies.
  • Plan and oversee branding campaigns, activations, sponsorships, and premium events.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, corporate accounts, distribution channels, and market expansions.
  • Build strong B2B and B2C relationships to enhance brand penetration and customer base.
  • Develop proposals, pitch presentations, and negotiate business deals that align with the Group’s vision.
  • Initiate and oversee loyalty programs, ambassador relationships, and strategic collaborations.

Marketing and Communications:

  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to integrate branding into lead generation and customer engagement efforts.
  • Lead content creation efforts for brand storytelling, press releases, website updates, brochures, and social media assets.
  • Manage PR activities to ensure positive media coverage and reputation management.
  • Design and implement internal brand advocacy initiatives among staff and partners.

Research and Innovation:

  • Conduct ongoing market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback surveys to inform brand and business strategies.
  • Recommend product, service, and experience innovations to maintain competitiveness.
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends in luxury, retail, lifestyle, and hospitality sectors.

Key Deliverables

  • Increased brand visibility and positive customer perception across all units.
  • Growth in corporate partnerships and key client accounts.
  • Successful launch of new business ventures and collaborations.
  • Achievement of revenue targets linked to new business initiatives.
  • Enhanced customer engagement metrics and brand loyalty indicators.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (MBA or specialization in Brand Management is an advantage).
  • 5 - 8 years' proven experience in brand management and business development, preferably within the luxury, retail, hospitality, or lifestyle industries.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing brand strategies that resulted in revenue growth.
  • Strong network in corporate, luxury, lifestyle, and high-net-worth client segments.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strategic, creative, and results-driven.
