We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Developer

Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The main role of is business development. Our ideal candidate is expected to be a driven, sales-focused, and leadership-driven business developer and have a proven track record in increasing sales and customer retention, along with experience in managing overall team performance. The focus of the role is to develop effective sales strategies to promote growth within the country.

Responsibilities

  • Research market trends and analyze competitor performance to develop effective sales strategies for your assigned country.
  • Implement new sales strategies and techniques and provide training on them to other agents.
  • Produce monthly sales reports.
  • Work in line with KPIs and targets set out by the management.
  • Complete independent market research and list new prospects.
  • Reach out to customers on a cold and warm basis.
  • Book and attend business meetings with potential clients.
  • Manage all contracts and paperwork associated with the deal/sale.
  • Provide mentorship and training to other sales personnel in the country.
  • Manage team performance, and set team targets and goals.
  • Update the management with team performance, prospects, and overall sales growth for a specific period.

Education

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is often a minimum requirement.

Experience:

  • Sales or Marketing Experience: Experience in sales, marketing, or business management.
  • Experience in Solar Energy and inverters is an added advantage

Required Skills:

  • Negotiation:Strong negotiation skills to secure deals and contracts.
  • Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Interpersonal Skills:Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and assess business opportunities.
  • Project Management:Skills to manage projects, set goals, and ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Strategic Thinking:Ability to develop and implement long-term business strategies.
  • Sales Skills:Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and drive revenue growth.
  • Marketing Knowledge:Understanding of marketing principles and strategies to effectively reach target audiences.
  • Industry Knowledge:Familiarity with the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
