Job Description

• We are looking to hire a skilled manager to oversee the daily operations of our supermarket.
• The candidate should be skilled and knowledgeable enough to ensure seamless operations and also be able to maximize sales and minimize costs.
• The ideal candidate must have previous experience as a supermarket manager and should be well informed of diverse business subjects such as Inventory, Procurement, Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, and, Staff Management.
• The goal of this position is to manage our store in ways that boost revenue, ensure smooth operations, and increase market share.

Responsibilities

• Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to employees.
• Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure, effectiveness, and efficiency
• Strategic business management to raise our customer pool, expand the supermarket traffic, and optimize profitability.
• Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
• Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
• Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts.
• Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget.

Requirements & Skills

• B.Sc. / BA in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field
• 4 - 7 years proven experience as a retail manager.
• Knowledge of retail management best practices
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent organizing and leadership skills
• Commercial awareness
• Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
• Excellent knowledge of retail management software.
• Previous experience in a Supermarket in a similar role is desirable.

Salary
N180,000 Monthly
