Job Title: Investigation Manager
Location: Nigeria (On-Site)
About The Job
The role holder will be responsible for ensuring all security breaches in any of our locations are thoroughly investigated and concluded within the stipulated time frame.
The expectation is that investigation actions are concluded within 30 days. He shall evaluate investigation plans and ensure that the investigation processes and actions conform with standard operating procedures.
The IM is also responsible for ensuring that all incidents under security investigation are properly logged in the Investigation Database and presented at the department’s monthly BPMS review sessions.
The IM is required to lead investigations into high-value cases or any matter deemed sensitive by the business.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all investigation actions on sensitive and non- sensitive security breaches on NBC locations.
Assign investigators to handle cases of fraud, theft, or any other major incidents impacting people and business processes on NBC sites.
Manage all investigation actions in liaison with the Security Operations Managers.
Ensure that investigation plans and processes are of good quality and are compliant with the standard operating procedures.
Ensure that investigation reports are detailed and compliant with the existing reporting format.
Ensure that investigations are concluded within the stipulated timeline and in accordance with the SLA.
Develop and manage the investigation data base and ensure all reported security breaches are properly logged on the database.
Conduct lessons learned sessions with relevant internal stakeholders on the outcome of investigations on sensitive security breaches.
Monitor business loss recoveries monthly with stakeholders.
Drive loss recovery processes with internal stakeholders and ensure loss recovery recommendations are actioned by the appropriate responsible managers.
Conduct weekly reviews on all outstanding investigations cases.
Plan and execute investigation trainings to the appropriate managers.
Plan, coordinate and execute security awareness trainings for fleet drivers (bi-annual) and expats’ domestic staff (annually).
Advise the Business on security matters.
Is This You?
At least a First Degree in any discipline from any accredited institution.
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in both investigations and security. (settings include corporate security, law enforcement, military, security-consulting, legal, audit, compliance, finance, regulatory, etc.).
Certification as a certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) or equivalent.
Robust network within the law enforcement and military community.
A good understanding and application of security investigation and interview technics, concepts, practices, and procedures.
A good understanding with the legal requirements of security investigations as it pertains to human rights and data protection.
Security Interview/interrogation skills.
Exceptional communication skills, with ability to communicate with a diverse range and seniority of stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
