Job Description

• We are looking for a Front-end Developer - (React/Next.js) who can help Mustard Stone Tech to achieve the very highest standards in code quality, performance and security. You must have a strong passion for quality and reliability agile programming process.
• You must be a creative thinker who can implement interactive UI/UX visualizations that are elegant with modern frameworks such as React/Next.js, and Typescript. 
• The successful candidate will also be an excellent communicator and team player adept at collaborating with the application architect and client-side teams to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Build libraries and frameworks that support complex web applications, speedup development efficiency and improve code quality.
• Writing unit / behavioural tests to ensure code quality
• Write code that works quickly and efficiently with great autonomy
• You’ll take part in code review, providing insight into the ideals and risks of any given approach
• As a frontend Engineer, you will implement and maintain the next generation of Splice’s customer-facing products using your knowledge of React/NextJs, TypeScript, and GraphQL
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• The team will work alongside our Product and UX colleagues to perform technical analysis of client requirements, participate in estimation, planning and architecture design sessions

Requirements

• Must have strong knowledge and robust understanding TypeScript and React
• Experience with using modern web technologies such as Webpack, Next.js, Redux, styled components, or similar.
• Experience using testing library (Jasmine/Jest, React Testing Library/Enzyme) and good understanding of how to write unit tests
• Very good understanding of modern frontend architecture principles, design practices and patterns
• Proven understanding of Object Oriented and functional programming paradigms
• Very good understanding of frontend development lifecycle (design, architecture, building bundles, deploying, error tracking, performance monitoring, etc)
• Experience in building high-performance desktop/web application
• Experience in test driven development using modern source control and continuous integration
• A proven record of working on well-tested, high-quality, maintainable projects will be highly preferred
• Possess a self-driven and proactive approach to work and can perform excellently in a fast-paced environment.
• An active GitHub portfolio or past projects is recommended to demonstrate your expertise
• An interest and understanding of Blockchain and Digital Payments would be preferred.
