Job Summary
The Marketing Executive supports the Battregen marketing team in implementing marketing plans and campaigns specifically designed to promote Battregen's battery refurbishment services.
This role involves executing assigned tasks across various marketing channels (with a strong focus on digital) to reach target B2B audiences (e.g., fleet operators, industrial facilities, renewable energy providers).
Responsibilities include drafting content about the benefits and process of battery refurbishment, updating social media and website content relevant to battery users, assisting with email campaigns, gathering market data on battery usage and refurbishment trends, supporting event logistics, and providing general administrative support to the marketing function.
The Marketing Executive plays a vital role in the day-to-day execution of marketing activities aimed at building brand awareness and supporting lead generation for Battregen's coreservices.
Key Responsibilities
Execute specific marketing tasks as assigned by the supervisor/manager, contributing to overall campaign goals focused on promoting battery refurbishment.
Assist in the day-to-day implementation of the marketing activity schedule.
Draft clear and engaging content for various marketing channels (social media, website, emails, brochures), following brand guidelines and specific briefs.
Assist in proofreading marketing materials for accuracy and consistency, ensuring technical concepts are presented simply and correctly.
Assist in organizing and maintaining digital marketing assets related to battery services.
Schedule and publish approved content on Battregen's social media profiles (particularly LinkedIn and other relevant platforms) targeting industries and professionals interested in battery solutions.
Assist in setting up and sending email marketing campaigns to segmented lists of potential battery refurbishment clients.
Monitor social media channels for comments and messages related to batteries or Battregen's services, escalating inquiries as needed.
Collect performance data from digital marketing platforms relevant to campaigns promoting battery refurbishment.
Assist in compiling this data into structured reports or presentations for review by senior marketing staff.
Provide administrative support to the marketing team.
Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, English Language, Digital Media, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. This could include internships, NYSC placements in a marketing/comms role, or entry-level positions involving marketing, communications, or administrative support.
Experience using marketing tools (social media schedulers, email platforms, CMS, Canva) is a plus.
Basic understanding of fundamental marketing concepts. Awareness of digital marketing channels is key.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a good grasp of grammar and spelling.
Ability to draft clear and concise content, including simplifying technical concepts related to batteries or refurbishment for a broader audience.
Strong computer literacy, especially proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with major social media platforms and their use for B2B marketing.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to quickly learn about battery technology and the refurbishment process.
Basic online research skills.
