Jobvet Services - Our client, a Reputable Hotel, is  recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Hotel Accountant 

Location: Utako, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The ideal candidate must be experienced in hospitality accounting and have a strong understanding of Nigerian tax laws. 
• We're looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing hotel finances and tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep accurate financial records and reports.
• Reconcile daily income from rooms, food & beverages, and events.
• Manage tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, WHT, CIT, etc.)
• File monthly and yearly tax returns.
• Work with auditors and tax officials.
• Handle payroll and statutory deductions.
• Monitor hotel budgets and cash flow.
• Ensure all accounting processes follow internal and external standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACA, ACCA, etc.) is a plus.
• 3 – 5 years experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and filing procedures.
• Proficient in accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Opera PMS, Hotelman).

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
