Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Human Resources Executive to join our team at House of Tara a leading cosmetics company with retail branches across the country.
The HR Executive will support the HR Manager in implementing HR strategies, handling employee relations, recruitment, and ensuring the smooth functioning of HR operations across all locations.
This role is pivotal in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and enhancing employee engagement within our retail network.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for retail and corporate roles, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
Facilitate onboarding programs for new hires to ensure seamless integration into the company culture.
Employee Relations:
Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and grievances, ensuring prompt resolution in line with company policies.
Promote a positive workplace environment by addressing employee concerns and conducting regular check-ins with staff.
Training & Development:
Coordinate training sessions for staff to enhance product knowledge, customer service, and other skill sets.
Assist in developing and implementing performance management strategies, including regular appraisals and feedback mechanisms.
HR Operations & Compliance:
Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, leave, payroll changes, and other personnel data.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies across all branches.
Assist in the development of HR policies and ensure consistent application across locations.
Performance Management:
Assist in monitoring employee performance and help develop action plans to address performance issues.
Employee Engagement & Retention:
Support the implementation of employee engagement programs, team-building activities, and recognition initiatives.
Analyze employee turnover rates and suggest retention strategies to enhance workforce stability.
Key Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, CIPD, SHRM) is an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably within retail or FMCG industries.
Experience managing multi-location teams and branches is a plus.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and employment regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage relationships across diverse teams.
Proficiency in HR software and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced retail environment.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
