Job Title: Team Lead, Network Security
Location: Lagos
Job Description
Implementation and administration of Network security controls and management strategies to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability, and compliance of the bank’s network information assets.
Development and management of network security policies, standards and procedures based on knowledge of best practises and compliance requirements
Ensure that network security software and hardware are up to date and that security measures are in place to protect against outside threats. Also carries out other operational security activities to ensure that the organizations network is not compromised. Activities include administration and management of firewalls, Internet gateways, Internet based DDOS protection, Internet traffic advertisement and filtering, intrusion prevention and detection as well as ensuring that only secure network protocols permitted across the network.
Configuration and administration of SSL VPNs (Remote access or Site-to-site), Troubleshoot technical application and network problems and provide remote support. Ensure that all incidents are responded to, actioned and resolved within the required MTTR. Ensure that calls are escalated and communicated to the required support teams and to management where required
Design and Implement security protocols and procedures to protect the organizations systems and data
Manage Core network devices for connectivity across network segments (DMZ, Internet, etc). Manage the network segmentation requirements across the organization and take responsibility for ensuring the required network controls are in place for maintaining the organization’s PCIDSS certification
Implement and Manage network connectivity with 3rd party partners over MPLS networks
Implement and design network security controls for cloud services on AWS, Azure and other SAAS deployments
Collaborating with network architects, technology suppliers, project managers and other technology support teams to design, build, and implement secure application systems
Provide technical leadership and mentorship for network security analysts. Stay current on security measures and industry standards and regulations
Manage housekeeping activities for the network security team, demonstrate high level competence with regards to enterprise Network security systems and work in tandem with the operational and information security functions to ensure security of the organization’s information and technology estate.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a First Degree in Computer Science or any IT related discipline
Professional qualification in CCNA, CEH, CCNP.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of post qualification experience
IT security Experience/ communication or Network experience.
Knowledge of a variety of network management tools, test equipment, circuits and routers,
Experience in TCP/IP protocol stacks and firewall security in an inter-networking environment.
Experience designing/implementing QoS in an enterprise environment, checkpoint, Cisco switches and routers.
