Job Title: Head, People & Culture

Job Summary
To be successful in this role, you’ll be able to context switch between ensuring a high standard of operational delivery alongside having an eye on the bigger picture, anticipating internal and external headwinds and tailwinds to evolve, optimize and scale the service in line with Arnergy’s growth trajectory.
You’ll also invest in upskilling and empowering our colleagues and line leads to use all elements of the service so that our culture of Living the Life of Grit, Thinking Safety First, Blazing a Trail, Doing More with Less, Making Heros, and Being Honest is lived in practice.
What you'll be Doing
HR Strategy Formulation:
Work with Arnergy executive team members to develop the enterprise HR vision, strategy, and planning of annual HR priorities, ensuring alignment to Arnergy business strategy including out enterprise goals related to diversity, equity and inclusion.
Act as a business partner to Senior and Executive Leaders to ensure line of business goals are strongly supported by People and Culture.
Monitor enterprise organizational wellness and engagement, including Arnergy health index survey process and recommendations to address findings.
Workforce Planning and Talent Acquisition:
Oversee the development of workforce strategy to meet the organization’s current and future staffing needs.
Oversee recruitment strategies and selection practices to attract and retain exceptional employees.
Talent Management and Development:
Lead the development and implementation of talent review and succession planning for the organization at the senior levels, to ensure an effective long-term pipeline of talent.
Enable a data-driven approach to talent management by ensuring that effective HR systems, metrics, and analytics are in place to address talent and business issues and to increase the return on HR programs.
Assess, develop and implement organizational learning programs including Executive and
Senior Leadership Development in conjunction with external partners.
Performance Management and Reward:
Establish a highly effective Performance Development System across which aligns people to our clear goals, provides understanding of current performance and works to develop each member to consistently achieve their full potential. This might typically include key elements such as talent mapping, leadership development, coaching and career mapping.

Establish a robust succession planning process, which works alongside our Growth and

Ensure we have excellent Leadership Development programmes to fill that pipeline so we can match our top talent to critical roles.
Oversee the development of Total Reward strategy in the context of Arnergy’s employee value proposition.
Ensures that base salary, variable pay, benefits and recognition programs are effectively developed and deployed to support current and future business and talent strategy.
Create, implement and maintain an effective performance management process which measures performance and identifies opportunities for growth.
Counsels and assists senior leaders on employee performance issues, development options, and career planning.
Change Management and Continuous Improvement
Manage change and ensure that the necessary change management action plans are being properly implemented by team members to cater for changing dynamics (whether internal or external).
Lead and direct the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices to support lean and agile ways of working within the HR function, considering best practice, regulatory context, and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.
Demonstrate vision and values in work and practice, motivate and work with all members of the company to create a shared culture and positive climate.
Act as a change agent, consulting on organizational projects with a focus on people and people practices. Identifies and diagnoses impacts of organization-wide changes; advises, develops and implements effective interventions.
Source external vendors as required. Liaises with vendors in the development of specific strategic programs and deliverables.
Arnergy’s Facility Management:
Oversee the management and operations of Arnergy’s hybrid work arrangement. This includes ensuring provision of safe, effective and financial responsible workspace to enable employees to do their best work while in our office environment, and the support and programs to enable a strong hybrid work strategy.
Oversees the management of Arnergy’s facilities.
Diversity Equity and Inclusion:
Building on Arnergy’s existing culture of diversity, manage the development of Arnergy’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategy as part of its people and culture strategy including the implementation plan, and measurement and reporting framework.
Oversee the implementation of Arnergy’s DEI strategy to achieve its intended outcome using effective change management practices.
Ensure DEI practices are embedded in all HR strategy, programs and policies.
Oversee the implementation of Arnergy’s ESG strategy.
Functional Leadership:
Proactively coach (through group and one-on-one sessions) and develop employees to assist them in achieving career success and growth.
Provide development opportunities for staff through various sources including learning sessions, internal and external training, and education courses.
Ensure each employee has a learning plan in place and results are achieved.
Identify and recommend any necessary changes that need to be made to the HR function's structure due to new/ changing business/ market needs in a manner that ensures that resources are optimally utilized, and communication takes place in an efficient manner.

Requirements
Person Specification:
Experienced Strategy and HR Business Professional
A Master's Degree, preferably with a strong emphasis on HR leadership
Prior experience as an HR Business Partnering Role, Head of Human Resources and Administration, HR Consulting
10+ years directly related experience
Use of statistical tools of analysis to produce management information
Excellent written and spoken English
A profound passion and belief in the importance of People Growth & Culture to the success of the business
Experience in building and leading to achieving outstanding results, actively managing the conditions for success that enable a team to achieve it's full potential
Knowledge and experience of working across key functions to drive the People's agenda plus outstanding stakeholder management skills to enable great results
A passion to develop and mentor Managers on their career development
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment which may need to frequently pivot to realize the market potential
Eagerness to lean in and "roll-up-your-sleeves" whilst building out your team so Arnergy begins to progress the critical Growth and Culture agendas
