Job Title: Lead, Solution Architect
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
As our Lead Solution Architect, you will be responsible for preparing winning engineering designs and proposals that provide solar solutions meeting both clients’ needs and industry standards and benchmarks.
You will play a pivotal role in expanding our power solution business, positioning Arnergy as the leading brand in the industry.
Responsibilities
You will:
Prepare technical proposals using appropriate tools to determine the best configuration, materials, and technologies for optimal performance.
Support the development of commercial proposals by providing material and quantity-related information to the commercial and finance teams for price modeling.
Develop electrical Single-Line-Diagrams and 3D visualizations to aid initial system architecture and project cost budgeting.
Perform site assessments/energy audits to capture customer load profiles, energy needs, location preferences, potential threats, and available infrastructure for optimal design.
Develop and manage a database of site assessments and proposals as a corporate asset for decision-making.
Contribute to project implementation plans and support during project execution.
Perform savings and cost-benefit analyses using available data and design metrics to determine energy and cost savings.
Work with operations to define and support requirements for successful project commissioning and acceptance.
Support the sales team with technical pre-sales activities.
Support the commercial team with responses to technical questions on RFPs.
Requirements and Skills
You’ll be a good fit for this role if:
You have a background in Computer / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. You are an engineer at heart and in practice.
You understand business development, solution design, and project management processes, strategies, and methods.
You have at least 5 years’ experience with solar inverters, charge controllers, battery storage, and energy management systems.
You have a strong understanding of solar PV technology, electrical standards, and solar solution dimensioning.
You are proficient in conducting energy audits and site assessments.
You are proficient in using solar solution design software – Helioscope, PVsyst.
You pay attention to detail.
You have experience working in high-level collaborative environments and promote a teamwork mentality.
