Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Event Center Manager to oversee the daily operations of our event facility and ensure seamless execution of all events hosted at the center. 
• The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership qualities, hands-on experience in event planning, and excellent communication skills. 
• Weekend and evening availability is essential as events often occur during these times.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the event center to ensure a clean, safe, and customer-friendly environment
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise events such as weddings, conferences, parties, and corporate functions
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction
• Handle booking inquiries, maintain schedules, and maximize venue utilization
• Liaise with vendors, caterers, decorators, and other service providers
• Supervise staff involved in event execution including coordinators, cleaners, security, and support staff
• Monitor event setup, timelines, and execution to ensure everything runs smoothly
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal standards
• Prepare and manage budgets, invoicing, and financial records related to events
• Drive marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase bookings

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in event management, hospitality, or facility management
• Proven track record of successfully managing events and leading teams
• Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with event management software is an added advantage
• Ability to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure
• Must be flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
