Job Title: Saloon Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Staff Management:

  • Hiring, training, and supervising salon staff.
  • Creating and managing work schedules.
  • Evaluating staff performance and providing feedback.
  • Handling payroll and benefits administration.

• Customer Service:

  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships.

• Salon Operations:

  • Overseeing daily salon operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintaining salon cleanliness, organization, and safety.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Financial Management:

  • Managing salon finances, including budgeting, bookkeeping, and payroll.
  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing financial reports.
  • Monitoring sales and profitability.

• Marketing and Business Development:

  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new clients.
  • Creating promotional materials and packages.
  • Monitoring industry trends and new techniques.

• Other Duties:

  • Ordering supplies and products.
  • Managing inventory and stock levels.
  • Coordinating with vendors and suppliers.
  • Handling conflict resolution among staff and clients.
  • May participate in providing salon services as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Candidates should possess FLSC / OND / HND qualifications with 1+ years of experience.
• Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for managing staff and overseeing salon operations.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills are crucial for building client relationships and handling inquiries and complaints.
• Financial Management Skills: A solid understanding of budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting is necessary for managing the salon's finances.
• Business Acumen: A good understanding of business operations, marketing, and sales is helpful for driving profitability and attracting new clients.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry trends, products, and techniques is valuable for staying current and providing effective services.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using salon management software, scheduling systems, and other relevant tools can streamline operations.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with staff, clients, and vendors.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise in the salon, whether related to staff, clients, or operations.
• Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure smooth salon operations.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,00 monthly.
