General Context

The MSF movement is built around six operational directorates. MSF OCBA is one of those directorates.
The operations are implemented by field teams and the mission coordination teams; together with the organizational units based in Barcelona and decentralized in Nairobi, Dakar and Amman.
The field operations are guided and supported by 5 Operational Cells, the Emergency Unit and other departments supporting operations, including the HR Department.
Tembo is a Learner-centered space that provides efficient digital learning and development opportunities adapted for all MSF staff, to be better contribute to MSF operations and MSF social mission. The mission of Tembo is to become a personal and organizational digital learning & development ecosystem used across MSF, supporting mutualization and gaining efficiency between OCs, and providing a space for all MSF staff to learn, develop themselves and share knowledge.
General Objective of the Position
The Digital Learning Support will ensure the quality, functionality, and usability of e-learning materials within Tembo.
This role involves supporting the e-Learning Services Team by providing technical assistance, conducting quality assurance testing, and contributing to the continuous improvement of digital learning implementation and platform optimization.
This position will focus on testing e-learning materials to ensure they function correctly across Tembo, identifying and reporting technical issues, and collaborating with the team to enhance the overall effectiveness of the platform.
Main Responsibilities
Provide ongoing support to the e-Learning Services Team at different levels, assisting them with various tasks related to platform functionality, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Contribute to the overall good functioning of the Tembo platform, collaborating with different teams to ensure efficient operation and troubleshooting of any issues that arise.
Conduct functional testing of e-learning materials and spaces within the
Tembo environment (web, mobile app, staging, sandbox and/or connectivity simulator), following the criteria outlined in the testing template.
Coordinate with the Tembo IT team to carry out functional tests in parallel with technical assessments.
Identify, document, and report any issues detected during functional testing using the designated testing template.
Liaise with the Tembo e-Learning Team to coordinate actions related to the publication process of e-learning spaces.
Verify that all identified issues have been resolved before the final publication of each e-learning space.
Track and document changes in the workflow to ensure consistency and process improvement.
Collect and record key data from each tested course, including course name, organizational unit, testing date, number of errors, and recurring issues.
Assist in the creation and configuration of e-learning spaces on the Tembo
platform upon request from the Digital Learning Team.
Update publication pipelines for each partner to ensure an efficient and structured release process.
Manage and maintain the Tester Tracker tool, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all testing activities to support process optimization.
Generate reports based on the Tester Tracker tool, documenting issues identified during the testing process to facilitate improvements.
Test the functionality of the learning materials in the updated version of Totara.
Creation and management of repositories in Totara.
Configuring e-learning content within courses and repositories on the platform.
Extracting e-learning content for subsequent translation.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
And other tasks related to the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Tembo platform, ensuring its stability, usability, and performance.
Requirements
Higher education preferably in a relevant field (e.g., Digital Learning, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Information Technology, Administration) or other related disciplinesor equivalent professional experience.
Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Totara, Moodle).
Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages such as Spanish, Arabic, and/or Frenchis an asset.
Familiarity with audiovisual content creation tools and e-learning production is a plus.
Effective communication and teamwork.
Adaptability, flexibility, and service orientation.
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
Problem-solving and prioritization abilities.
Creativity, initiative, and willingness to adopt new digital tools.
Conditions
Position based in any MSF OCBA Hub (Barcelona, MSF-Spain office delegations, Amman, Bogota, Dakar or Nairobi). Final location will be subject to the employability of the preselected candidate (residency, work permit, etc.).
Remuneration Annual gross salary: HQ-2Blevel + secondary benefits based on MSF OCBA Reward Policy. Subjected to local conditions.
