Summary

• We are seeking a dynamic Business Development & Tech Sales Associate to support its mission of launching and scaling innovative tech products. 
• In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying leads, closing deals, and nurturing long-term client relationships.
• You’ll work closely with founders, product teams, and clients within the startup ecosystem to position high-impact solutions and services.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets for growth.
• Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and develop compelling business proposals.
• Conduct market, industry, competitor, and user research to inform strategy.
• Support thought leadership initiatives (e.g. writing articles, hosting webinars, and speaking at events).
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine go-to-market strategies.

Sales:

• Lead outreach and engagement efforts with prospective and existing clients.
• Manage and analyze the sales pipeline to drive conversions and optimize performance.
• Articulate value propositions effectively to different customer segments.
• Build strategic partnerships and client relationships to boost deal closure.

Account Management:

• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients and products.
• Regularly engage clients for feedback, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct post-sale and post-project check-ins with clients and partners.
• Drive internal coordination to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
• Stay updated on industry trends to anticipate client needs and deliver added value.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, business development, or account management—preferably in tech or startup environments.
• Professional certifications in Sales or CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) are an added advantage.
• Strong consultative selling and solution-based approach.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven track record of managing pipelines and building client relationships.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with startups or in innovation-focused environments is a plus.

Salary
N300,000 monthly.
