Job Title: Business Development Executive

Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and expanding our market presence within the automobile spare parts sector.
This role requires a deep understanding of the automotive industry, excellent sales and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of achieving targets.
Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitor activities within the automobile spare parts market.
Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities and develop strategic business plans.
Business Development and Sales:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and increase sales revenue.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients, including distributors, retailers, and workshops.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and new clients.
Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support.
Product Knowledge and Industry Expertise:
Develop a deep understanding of our company's product offerings, including the specifications, applications, and benefits of various automobile spare parts.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and developments in the automotive industry.
Provide clients with technical information and support regarding our products.
Logistics and Supply Chain Collaboration:
Collaborate with our logistics and supply chain team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to clients.
Coordinate with the import department to ensure smooth and timely import processes.
Work closely with the operations team to optimize inventory management and order fulfillment.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development efforts.
Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates to management on progress and achievements.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development strategies.
Networking and Promotion:
Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and promote our company's products and services.
Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the automobile spare parts industry or a related sector.
Strong understanding of the automobile spare parts market, including products, suppliers, and customers.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
