As a Key Account Manger, you'll be assigned a portfolio of some of our fastest-growing vendors across multiple vendor tiers and business categories - Food, Groceries & Pharmacies.
Your primary function will be to scale and maintain the business of these vendors, while helping them meet their most critical business objectives.
You'll own some of our most essential vendor relationships, and lead both daily conversations as well as high level strategic discussions.

To best support your portfolio of assigned vendors, you'll need a deep understanding of their specific business needs as well as their broader market and tier needs.
Key Account Managers work with every cross-functional team at Chowdeck.
You'll serve as an important link between teams to ensure that all parts of the company are working in sync to provide the best possible experience for our vendors and their customers.
You'll have visibility into what’s happening across the entire company, hence our need for someone who is a problem-solver, sharp, articulated, capable of handling significant relationships and responsibilities .
This is a full-time, hybrid role and you’ll report directly to the Head of Sales and Partnerships.
Requirements
You'll thrive as a Key Account Manager if you:
Have a sophisticated commercial sense and are able to quickly understand the underlying drivers and strategy of our vendor's businesses.
Have the capability to identify upsell opportunities, and close them.
Are a strong communicator: you can write and speak clearly and earnestly, and understand how to explain complex issues to different audiences
Have at least 4-6 years experience in a client-facing role managing client accounts or account management roles, business development, preferably at a technology company or within the food delivery space, with a track record of top performance.
Are proficient in writing SQLs and are able to generate/analyse large amounts of data, identify useful patterns, and make recommendations based on your observations - STRICTLY REQUIRED.
Have a strong sense of ownership: you can be relied on to solve problems end to end, while managing all stakeholders involved, and proactively providing timely feedback.
Embody the principle of servant leadership: you have genuine empathy for business owners, and you’re happy to go the extra mile to help them succeed
Are perceptive and a fast learner: you’re able to quickly understand how all moving parts on Chowdeck works and able to leverage your understanding to help vendors achieve their goals.
