Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Role

• We are seeking an experienced and proactive Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate IT projects across the organization. 
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, resources, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. 
• This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of IT project methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to align project objectives.
• Track project progress and regularly report updates to the Group IT Manager.
• Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Maintain project documentation, meeting logs, and communication records.
• Summarize and present project status and outcomes to the Management team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5 - 9 years work experience proven experience managing IT/software development projects.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Tech Stack, especially Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.

Key Tasks:

• Manage software development projects within the BIRN Group.
• Serve as the communication bridge between internal clients and external developers.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation related to each project.
• Log and track meetings, action items, and follow-ups.
• Provide high-level project summaries and insights to senior management.
