Job Description

• Our client is looking for a highly organized and efficient Cashier to manage financial transactions, handle payments, and provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cash handling, basic accounting, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payments (checks and electronic transfers) for school fees, events, and other services.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
• Provide receipts and invoices to students and parents.
• Manage daily cash flow and reconcile cash registers.
• Assist with financial reporting and support internal audits.
• Offer exceptional customer service to students, parents, and staff.
• Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.

Qualifications

• Minimum of OND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• HND or degree holders will be an added advantage.
• Gender: Male and Female (However, females are adviced to apply for gender balance)

Skills:

• Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar role (educational setting preferred).
• Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Others:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Availability to work during school hours (Monday to Friday).
