As a Sales Representative at Zinkata, you will be the primary point of contact between the business and its customers.
Your role is to engage, educate, and assist prospective and existing clients, ensuring they have an exceptional shopping experience while driving sales.
This role requires a strong passion for fashion, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven approach.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Service:
Welcome customers warmly and create a memorable in-store experience.
Assist customers with product selection, styling advice, andpersonalisedrecommendations.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, encouraging repeat business.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
Provide insightful product knowledge to educate customers on trends, styling, and fit.
Sales & Business Growth:
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets through strategic and engaging selling techniques.
Identify and educate prospective customers about Zinkata’s products and services.
Utilize social media and digital engagement to attract new customers and drive foot traffic.
Generate and follow up on new customer leads to expand the client base.
Track and analyze customer buying patterns to refine sales strategies.
Store Operations & Merchandising:
Maintain a visually appealing store, ensuring merchandise is neatly arranged and well-stocked
Assist with restocking, inventory management, and product display.
Maintain a clean,organised, and secure store environment.
Assist with gift wrapping and premium packaging to enhance the customer experience.
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Marketing & Brand Representation:
Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring Zinkata’s vision and values are reflected in customer interactions.
Provide customer feedback and suggestions to the Sales Manager for business improvements.
Suggest and implement new business ideas to enhance sales and customer experience.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
2-3 years' experience in fashion retail or sales
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in fashion, retail, and social media content creation.
Strong photography and visual storytelling skills with the ability to create standout content using minimal resources.
Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, or equivalent).
Proficiency in social media channels such as Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
Experience with website management and newsletters (Shopify, WordPress, Mailchimp, or similar platforms).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to enhance brand positioning and customer engagement.
Strategic mindset with the ability to assess business goals and tailor content to drive results.
Highly professional, organized, and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
