Job Title: Human Resource Business Partner
Location: Onitsha, Anambra
Purpose Statement
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for executing GCL's HR strategy within Onitsha Factory Operations
The HRBP serves as the primary contact for Onitsha Factory and will drive functional HR strategy relative to talent acquisition, leadership development and succession planning, talent management, reward & performance management, culture, simplification. change management. coaching. workforce planning and organizational design.
This role is critical in the development and execution of GCL's HR strategic and operational plan in support of the client's business objectives.
Key Accountabilities
Partner with client function leader and functional leadership team to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable functional business objectives
Develop an operational plan to execute GCL Human Resources strategy which is aligned to. and supports the Company Vision in assigned function(s) and mmitor progress against achievement Acquire knowledge of assigned function(s) as a key prerequisite to ensuring that HR solutions are crafted in the context Of a dynamic business environment and leverage this knowledge to create a climate that values teamwork. the pursuit of excellence and alignment of HR contribution to the line.
Contribute and when required drive the implernentation of planning activities such as Talent Reviews, Employee Surveys and other HR initiatives
Ensure the generation of functional talent pipelines that have sufficient depth within assigned functions, whilst understanding the broader GCL talent requirements and development opportunities. Career paths aligned to GCL Values & Behaviours to ensure expectations are managed.
Drive a high-performance culture and winning-as-one mentality in assigned Function(s) by enhancing GCL Values & Behaviours and functional/business Line of sight, enabling performance (regular coaching and feedback) and education on reward strategy) are tools to effectively reinforce this process
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University.
Minimum Of 8 years Of experience in a variety Of Human Resource positions with increasing scope
Professional qualification e.g. CIPM. CIPD SHRM.
Master's degree in human resources or MBA will be an added advantage.
Ability to speak the native language will be an added advantage.
