Job Title: Factory Supervisor

Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and proactive Factory Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our production facility. 
• The ideal candidate will have strong team leadership skills, a focus on production efficiency, and the ability to maintain a high standard of maintenance and effective operations of the facility. 
• The supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the completion of tasks while maintaining smooth operations, high-quality output, and a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the factory is kept clean, organized, and adheres to safety standards.
• Oversee repairs and be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the facility, ensuring all machines and equipment are in working order.
• Ensure the smooth running of the factory by working alongside other teams (production, maintenance, and logistics) to optimize workflow.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of all machinery to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Ensure all technical requirements for daily production operations are met.
• Ensure the smooth running of the factory by working alongside other teams to optimize workflow.
• Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all production targets are met on time, maintaining operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least 1 year work experience.
• Applicants must be living within Choba, Nta, Ada-George, Rumuola, or New GRA for a convenient commute.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a furniture manufacturing setting or any related field.
• Strong knowledge of furniture production techniques, materials, and machinery.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Flexible, adaptable, and proactive in addressing challenges and optimizing production.
• Team player, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of workplace safety and compliance regulations.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications for reporting and inventory management.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

Salary
N75,000 monthly.
