Job Title: Assistant Registrar

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic administrator to fill the position of Assistant Registrar. 
• The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Deputy Registrar and Registry Department, assisting with student affairs, and performing other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Deputy Registrar and Registry Department
• Assist with student affairs, including admissions, records, and examinations
• Support academic departments with administrative tasks and projects
• Coordinate and manage the activities of the registry department
• Ensure the efficient and effective management of the polytechnic's records and documents

Requirements

• Minimum First degree from a recognized institutiona post graduate degree is an added advantage.
• NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption
• Credits in five subjects, including English and Mathematics at SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L
• At least 5-10 years of of relevant post-NYSCexperience in an administrative or academic institution, with experience in registry, academic, or student affairs.with 3 years in a Experience in a supervisory role, and theability to manage and motivate staff. in a polytechnic or similar institution.
• Membership in a relevant professional body, such as NIM, NIPM, CIPM, or ANUPAetc
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in ICT tools and platforms
