Job Title: Cook

Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Cook dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure food is cooked at the correct temperature.
• Assist in creating new dishes.
• Modify recipes based on customer preferences or dietary needs.
• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen.
• Manage time effectively to prepare dishes on schedule.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff for smooth operations.
• Monitor food supplies and report shortages.
• Work closely with chefs, servers, and kitchen staff.

Basic Requirements

• Culinary school certification or diploma.
• 1-2 years of experience cooking in a functional kitchen
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Must be at least 18 years old (or 28 in some cases).
• Ability to use kitchen tools and equipment (knives, ovens, grills, etc.).
• Food safety and hygiene knowledge
• Ability to stand for long hours.
• Good hand-eye coordination for precision in cooking.
• Ability to lift heavy kitchen supplies if required.
• Time management to prepare dishes efficiently.
• Teamwork and communication to coordinate with kitchen staff.
• Attention to detail for food presentation and quality control.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.

Salary
N80,000 monthly.
