Job Summary

• We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Manager to lead the sales function for our interactive sports entertainment company. 
• This role is responsible for driving sponsorship sales, securing event partnerships, and expanding our client base for tournaments and experiential activations. 
• The ideal candidate is passionate about sports and entertainment, has strong B2B relationship-building skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy to secure sponsorships, partnerships, and bookings for our tournaments and sports events.
• Identify and engage potential corporate sponsors, brand partners, schools, and organizations interested in collaborating with our sports events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring long-term engagement and satisfaction.
• Lead contract negotiations, close deals, and oversee execution of partnership agreements.
• Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to align sales messaging with event goals and ensure seamless execution.
• Create customized sponsorship proposals and pitch decks that align with client needs and event themes.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments.
• Represent the company at industry networking events, meetings, and sports expos to generate leads and promote brand visibility.
• Track sales performance and prepare regular reports on revenue, pipelines, and forecasts using CRM tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
• 2 – 5 years of sales experience, preferably in event management, sports, entertainment, or media.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and securing sponsorships or corporate partnerships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Passion for sports and understanding of the sports/events sponsorship landscape.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Existing network within the sports, entertainment, or corporate sponsorship space.
• Experience selling experiential marketing solutions or branded activations.
• Familiarity with event planning and operations to understand client needs from concept to execution.

Working Conditions:

• Temporary remote-based with frequent offsite meetings, client visits, and attendance at sports tournaments and events.
• Some evening and weekend work required in line with event schedules.
