We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Specialist - Finance Process Optimization
Support the integrity, optimal functionality and efficiency of enterprise management systems.
Responsibilities
Monitor the functionality of the EAM system, ensuring effective asset tracking, movement, and auditing and good user satisfaction level.
Maintain accuracy of the Enterprise asset Register. Liaise with Third party stakeholders, Field support engineers and Regional technical officers on weekly basis for data investigation, validation and rectification.
Analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process enhancements. Identify opportunities to improve technology through user engagement.
Coordinate the implementation of system changes to EAM systems (including IT supported automated processes) by coordinating users through key activities such as business need form drafting, user training, user acceptance testing, go-live and post implementation business support.
Provide inputs to maintain the quality of the Enterprise Asset Management structure.
Perform first level review of user access to ServiceNow, Redcube, and other EAM-related platforms, ensuring compliance with security policies (e.g., SOX controls) and submit recommendations to the supervisor for review.
Monitor and update the capitalization status of assets, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and minimizing unprocessed records.
Coordinate the implementation of remediation actions for process and/or policy gaps identified by ensuring that agreed actions are taken and verified.
Document updates to policy or process documentation through inquiries with stakeholders, obtain management approval and publish updated documents on the department’s intranet site.
Coordinate implementation of process improvement projects, collaborating and working with Group Finance Function and Global Process Owners.
Monitor key KPIs as directed by the HoD through assessment of appropriate business processes and/policies.
Participate in group led IT projects on EAM systems by providing data inputs and support actions for process and systems changes.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Finance Process Optimisation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Audit & Risk Management, IT systems, Administration or related qualification
Minimum of +3 years’ relevant work experience in process and systems related work.
Demonstrable experience in working on IT led projects.
