We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Account Executive

Locations: Lagos, Delta, Edo and Imo
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties

• Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
• Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
• Assist in developing financial and tax strategies.
• Manage the capital request and budgeting processes.
• Assist to develop financial performance measures that support the strategic direction of the Company’s projects.
• Oversee company’s financial operations.
• Manage any third parties to which accounting or finance functions have been outsourced.
• Oversee the company’s transaction processing systems.
• Implement operational best practices in finance function.
• Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package.
• Coordinate preparation of financial reports and analysis.
• Periodically report financial performance.
• Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.
• Construct and monitor reliable control systems.
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
• Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.
• Timely report key risk issues.
• Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
• Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts.
• To oversee and manage organization's financial activities, ensuring its financial health, stability, and growth.

Broad Key Performance Indicators

• Timeliness in preparation of Annual budgets and periodic review of budgets with actual.
• Timeliness in filing of remittances to regulators such as pension, tax returns, NHIS returns in accordance to regulatory deadlines.
• Timeliness in coordination of preparation of financial reports and analysis not later than 7th of every month.
• Timeliness in conduct and completion of annual audits not later than 31st March.
• High level of compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in accordance to regulatory deadlines.

Requirements 

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc / M.Sc Degree with 5 years of experience.
