Jewels Leading Lights ia a christian school based in Abuja Nigeria with two campuses at Gwarimpa and Life Camp. We offer educational services with biblical integration and student spiritual formation and discipleship.

Job Title: Head of Administration

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Head of Administration to oversee the administrative operations of our school in Nigeria. 
• The candidate should have a strong legal background and extensive experience in school administration or a similar leadership role. 
• This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, managing school policies and procedures, and supporting the overall efficiency of administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily administrative operations of the school, ensuring efficiency and compliance with school policies.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with international best practices and local educational regulations.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with education laws, labor laws, and other relevant government policies.
• Manage contracts, agreements, and legal documentation related to staff, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Supervise administrative staff and ensure smooth coordination between departments.
• Liaise with government agencies, accreditation bodies, and legal advisors to protect the school's interests.
• Manage school facilities, security, and maintenance operations to provide a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Support the school’s leadership team in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Handle conflict resolution and mediate disputes among staff, students, or external stakeholders when necessary.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) is required; a Master’s degree in Administration, Education Management, or a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in school administration, corporate administration, or legal advisory roles.
• Strong understanding of Nigerian educational laws, labor regulations, and administrative best practices.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an international school environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
