Job Title: Manned Security Guard

Location: Lagos (Different Locations)
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• We are seeking vigilant and professional Manned Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets. 
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, controlling access points, and responding to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities
Access Control & Surveillance:

• Monitor and control entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct security checks on personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
• Operate and monitor CCTV surveillance systems and security alarms.

Patrolling & Incident Response:

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to detect and deter security threats.
• Report and respond to security breaches, suspicious activities, or safety hazards.
• Assist in emergency situations such as evacuations, fire outbreaks, or medical incidents.

Customer & Client Interaction:

• Provide aid, assistance and directions to visitors, employees, and clients in a professional manner.
• Maintain a visible and approachable security presence to enhance safety perception.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of daily security activities, incidents, and any irregularities.
• Prepare and submit reports on security breaches, accidents, and any unusual occurrences.

Qualifications & Skills

• Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent (additional security training is a plus).
• 2 - 6 years experience in security, law enforcement, or related field.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• Physically fit with the ability to stand and patrol for extended periods. Physical Fitness will be tested.
• Knowledge of security protocols, first aid, and self-defense techniques is an advantage.
