Job Title: Senior Coordinator, Business Development

Purpose of the position
The Senior Coordinator, Business Development works closely with the Senior Manager, Business Development and provides support in driving eHealth Africa’s fundraising and partnership strategy and goals.
The manager is expected to be innovative and impact-driven in securing partnerships and new business opportunities.
The overall responsibility is to support eHA in the development, review, renewal, and submission of all project proposals including the preparation of the department reports, preparation of presentations and conducting of analysis.
What you’ll do
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned:
Supports proposal team, timelines and the overall progression of work undertaken by internal proposal teams to ensure the on-time completion of high quality, responsive, and compliant proposal applications
Supports proposal and presentation kick-off and review meetings
Responsible for department reporting, presentation preparation
Leads department analytical work including but not limited to proposal feedback analysis, win rate analysis, overall NBD analysis
Manages data input to the CRM and or Task management platform with regard to donor cultivation and contact management; in addition, manages proposal submission matrix for continued analysis of success trends for further decision-making
Adheres to Policies and Procedures.
Adheres to eHealth Africa Code of Conduct as well as ethical standards of the field
Advise on donor priorities and identify specific opportunities. Identify, pursue and successfully
Capitalize on funding opportunities among major Public Healthcare funders
Who you are
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform this job:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Communications/Journalism, Business Administration, Marketing or related field
Previous experience with a public health/ tech company and or program management and implementation, a plus
Knowledge/experience supporting complex proposals in response to donor RFPs; specifically multilateral aid agencies
Persuasive Writing and Grant writing skills
Ability to effectively manage a complex and varied workload in a fast-paced environment, and ability to work well under pressure
Previous experience in Sales and Marketing is a plus
Experience in Stakeholder Engagement is a plus
Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, including demonstrated proficiency with advanced formulas and formatting in Excel.
Preference experience using online administrative and collaboration software such as SAGE X3 ERP system, Google Docs, BambooHR, Docusign and Asana.
Proven supervisory and mentoring ability.
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, including a proven ability to establish and maintain constructive relationships with partner organizations
English is the spoken and written language. Fluency in French is desirable.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
