Job Title: Human Resource Manager
Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring that they align with our organizational goals and foster a positive work environment.
The HR Manager will play a crucial role in talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance with labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and job boards.
Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns, and fostering a positive work environment.
Implement employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
Facilitate conflict resolution and provide guidance on performance management issues.
Performance Management:
Oversee the performance appraisal process and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Provide support and training to managers on effective performance management techniques.
Analyze performance metrics and develop strategies to improve employee performance.
Training & Development:
Identify training needs and design programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
Coordinate and facilitate employee training sessions and workshops.
Assess the effectiveness of training and development initiatives.
Compliance & Policies:
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices.
Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements.
Manage the employee handbook and communicate policy changes to staff.
Compensation & Benefits:
Analyze and evaluate compensation structures to ensure competitiveness and fairness.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, and other perks.
Conduct regular market surveys to ensure competitive compensation strategies.
HR Reporting & Analytics:
Maintain HR metrics and provide regular reports to senior management on HR initiatives and employee trends.
Utilize HR analytics to inform decision-making and strategic planning
Budget Management:
Manage the HR budget, including labor costs, training expenses, and other HR related costs.
Allocate funds to different functions and projects.
Optimize budgets based on spend data and performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s Degree or HR certification is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources, with at least 5 years in a managerial role .
Several years of progressive HR experience, with a proven track record in HR management roles, preferably within a consulting is an added advantage.·
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
