Job Summary
HealthBox Group seeks a dynamic and results-driven Business Manager to lead our Lagos-based team in dominating the Southwestern market.
This role demands a strategic leader with exceptional marketing acumen, team-building expertise, and operational oversight skills.
The ideal candidate will drive sales growth, mentor junior staff, streamline logistics and admin processes, and innovate business strategies to exceed quarterly targets.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead, motivate, and mentor the Lagos team to achieve regional sales and operational goals.
Foster a collaborative culture, ensuring alignment with HealthBox’s mission and values.
Provide regular performance feedback and ensure teams are aligned with company objectives.
Sales & Business Development:
Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to conversion, ensuring revenue targets are met.
Set and monitor sales goals, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Develop customer retention strategies and expand the company’s footprint in the region.
Implement performance metrics (KPIs) to track sales effectiveness and team productivity.
Develop and execute growth strategies to capture market share across the Southwest.
Identify new business opportunities, secure partnerships, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Represent HealthBox Group in business meetings, industry events, and networking engagements.
Ensure consistent pipeline development, customer acquisition, and successful deal closures.
Operational Oversight:
Supervise daily operations of the Lagos office, ensuring efficiency across sales, logistics, admin, and finance.
Ensure seamless supply chain and logistics management to enhance service delivery.
Monitor financial transactions and budgeting to ensure cost control and profitability.
Marketing Strategy:
Design localized marketing campaigns to boost brand visibility and customer acquisition.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine strategies.
Administrative & Financial Accountability:
Oversee regional budgets, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
Manage administrative tasks, including staffing, payroll coordination, and vendor relations.
Performance Monitoring:
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine business strategies.
Provide periodic reports on regional performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Implement innovative approaches to boost revenue, optimize operations, and expand business reach.
Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Minimum 5 years in regional management, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG.
Proven success in sales leadership, team development, and logistics oversight.
Strong business acumen, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis.
Knowledge of Nigeria’s Southwestern market dynamics (advantageous).
