Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job Overview

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage all accounting aspects of our company, which provides services, vending, and product supplies. 
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax compliance, payroll processing, banking transactions, and other accounting tasks. 
• Proficiency in Zoho accounting software is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping & Transactions: Ensure accurate and timely recording of all sales, expenses, and financial transactions.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Tax Compliance: Handle tax calculations, filings, and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
• Payroll Management: Process payroll, maintain employee records, and ensure statutory deductions and remittances.
• Banking & Reconciliations: Manage banking transactions, reconcile bank statements, and monitor cash flow.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Track payments, manage invoices, and ensure timely collections and disbursements.
• Zoho Accounting Software: Maintain records and generate reports using Zoho Books and other Zoho applications.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor`s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Zoho Books and other Zoho accounting tools.
• Familiarity with tax laws and financial regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.

Salary
N300,000 monthly.
