We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in the rapidly growing medical consumables space.
Do you have experience selling medical consumables? This role is key to driving the expansion of our market presence and the growth of our product portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the medical industry, a proven track record in sales and business development, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across hospitals, clinics, distributors, and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Growth:
Identify and target new business opportunities in the medical consumables market, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.
Drive the expansion of the product portfolio by targeting new sectors and regions.
Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and market share.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Build and execute comprehensive sales strategies to promote and sell medical consumables products.
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional materials and sales campaigns.
Achieve sales targets and KPIs, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business goals.
Customer Relationship Management:
Establish, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Address customer needs and ensure high satisfaction levels, contributing to repeat business and customer retention.
Provide training and support to clients regarding product usage and benefits.
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer demands within the medical consumables industry.
Analyze competitor activity and develop competitive strategies to ensure the company maintains a competitive edge.
Monitor industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
Collaborate with the product development and operations teams to ensure customer feedback is integrated into new product development.
Work with the finance and logistics teams to ensure efficient supply chain and product distribution.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance and market trends.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field (Master's preferred).
4 - 7 years of experience in business development or sales in the medical consumables or healthcare sector.
Strong understanding of the medical consumables industry, including products such as wound care supplies, surgical instruments, diagnostic equipment, etc.
Proven ability to build relationships and networks with healthcare professionals, distributors, and key stakeholders.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Results-oriented with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Ability to work independently, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance within the medical industry is a plus.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience in international sales or dealing with cross-border transactions.
