Job Title: Curriculum Support Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Curriculum Support Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing the curriculum and ensuring adherence to the delivery of lesson plans in line with the curriculum standards
Support educators with preparation of teaching resources such as printing, photocopying, and laminating of curriculum-related materials.
Assist in coordinating pupil assessments, track progress across various subjects, providing feedback to educators, helping to identify areas for improvement and maintaining assessment records
Support quality assurance by assisting with lesson observations and documentation
Provide Tailored Support: Offer individual and small group support to pupils, particularly those who need extra help or enrichment, ensuring they meet their full potential.
Professional Development: Assist in the planning of professional development for teaching staff to enhance teaching strategies and improve curriculum delivery
Provide administrative support during curriculum review meetings, parent-teacher conferences, open houses, inspections, and other curriculum-related programmes.
Assist in coordinating curriculum-related activities such as school calendar events, projects, and enrichment programmes.
Liaise and collaborate efficiently with vendors or providers of extra-curricular activities.
Provide temporary teaching staff coverage when needed to ensure the continuity of lessons.
Undertake other duties as assigned by the Curriculum Director
Ideal Candidate
Must reside in Ibadan and have the ability to commute easily to Jericho, Ibadan
Education: A Bachelor degree in Education (B.Ed.) Primary Education
Previous Experience – At least 3 years of sustained post-graduation experience supervising and supporting teaching staff in a primary school setting
Highly Organised and Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise, and maintain accurate records andpay attention to detail
Strong Communication Skills: MUST have outstanding oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to be able to interact with staff, pupils, and parents in a professional and friendly manner
Proven ability to work impartially and foster effective collaboration with educators
Must be adaptable and able to respond quickly to ensure the continuity of pupil learning
Knowledge of the British Curriculum is an advantage.
