We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Officer

Location: Onitsha, Anambra

Job Summary

  • The Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales, building relationships with clients, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. 
  • This role involves prospecting, lead generation, product promotion, and providing excellent customer service. 
  • The Sales Officer will work closely with the sales team and other departments to contribute to the company's growth and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively promoting and selling company products or services to new and existing clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Market Research & Lead Generation: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert them into sales.
  • Product Knowledge & Presentation: Demonstrate and present the company’s products or services to potential clients, ensuring deep product knowledge and addressing client queries.
  • Sales Proposals & Negotiations: Prepare sales proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals to achieve sales goals.
  • Customer Support: Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing any issues or concerns and ensuring overall satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions in the company’s CRM or sales system.
  • Collaboration with the Sales Team: Work closely with other sales team members to share insights, collaborate on strategies, and contribute to team success.
  • Follow-up: Conduct follow-ups with potential and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience: 3-7 years of sales experience, preferably in Plastic manufacturing industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate and close sales deals.
  • Customer Focus: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities to manage multiple clients and tasks.
  • Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software 
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude and high level of motivation.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to understand client needs and offer appropriate solutions.

Requirements

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, Hausa, and Yoruba is Compulsory for this role
  • Experience: 3-7years of sales experience, preferably in is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with flexible working hours.
  • Some travel may be required to meet clients or attend events.
  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission.

Salary
N170,000.00 - N200,000.00 / Month.
