Prime Montessori Nursery and Primary School - For over 25 years, Prime Montessori Nursery and Primary School has been at the forefront of Montessori learning in Nigeria. Nursery Primary Teacher
Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Teacher to join our team. 
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and personal development in young students. 
  • Responsibilities include planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere. 
  • The teacher will also collaborate with parents, colleagues, and school administration to support each child’s educational journey. Strong communication, creativity, and classroom management skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver structured Igbo language lessons tailored to students’ proficiency levels.

School Transport Manager
Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly organized and experienced School Transport Manager to oversee and coordinate the safe and efficient transportation of students. 
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the school bus fleet, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, supervising drivers and support staff. 
  • The School Transport Manager will work closely with school administrators, parents, and transport teams to ensure reliable and timely student transportation. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the school transport system, ensuring safe and timely student pick-up and drop-off.
  • Develop and optimize efficient bus routes to minimize travel time and fuel costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and school policies.
  • Train andsupervise bus drivers and transport staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and professional conduct.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and coordinate maintenance and repairs to keep the fleet in top condition. As well as liaise with repair and maintenance vendors
  • Monitor driver performance and provide feedback or corrective action when necessary.
  • Implement safety procedures and emergency response plans for student transportation.
  • Handle parent inquiries and concerns regarding school transportation services.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, driver schedules, and incident reports.
  • Work closely with school administration to align transport services with academic schedules and events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Transport Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in transport management, preferably in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of transport regulations, vehicle maintenance, and route planning.

Administrative Officer

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining student and staff records, coordinating office activities, managing correspondence, handling scheduling, and ensuring compliance with school policies.

  • Oversee the daily administrative operations of the school office.
  • Maintain and update student, staff, and school records in compliance with policies and regulations.
