Job Title: General Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Mission

• Partner with business leaders to provide support and advice on operational and strategic financial matters, using insights to drive informed decision-making.

Description

• Influence, build capacity and skills to support other business units towards the delivery of the overall business strategies.
• Oversee daily operation of facilities management services, including maintenance, cleaning, security, and landscaping
• lead and manage al aspect of project delivery, from start to finish
• Proactively work with budget holders to resolve any concerns or difficulties with business performance and assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
• Collaborate actively with other finance leaders and contribute towards the development of financial policies, procedures and systems.
• Enforce compliance of financial policies and procedures in all Business units.
• Support the development of management reports to provide Prime Facilitiesleadership and stakeholders with accurate financial analysis to guide decision making.
• Provide support to develop growth strategies and implementation of initiatives to deliver key financial & business objectives within business units.
• Implement robust succession planning and talent development frameworks to ensure continuity in leadership. Mentor and coach high-potential employees, preparing them for future leadership roles within the organization
• Improve the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance
• Develop a rich and comprehensive toolkit of information and analytical techniques to guide informed decision making.
• Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
• Provide financial advisory services to all business areas and support their initiatives in line with Prime Facilities strategic objectives.
• Build partnerships, bridges with other business units and maintain strong relationships with all Senior Management employees in all business units
• Sensitize budget holders and line managers on financial performance requirements, including the need for budgetary control and adherence to relevant regulatory/statutory laws as applicable.

Requirements
Education:

• First Degree in Accounting, Engineering or related area of study
• Professional Qualification from a recognized Accounting Body (FCA, CA/ACCA) is a plus
• Fluent in English
• Strong knowledge of facilities system, regulatory compliance, and maintenance protocols.

Experience:
Minimum of 10 years work experience including:

• Senior management track record of 5 years or more; with at least 3 years in relevant sector/ industry as per relevant role.
• 3 years’ experience in relevant industry/sector.
• Worked across diverse cultures and geographies.
• Experience in using analytical techniques to interpret data.
