We are recruiting self-motivated and driven candidate to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Coordinator

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
Reports to: CEO / Director of Operations

Job Summary

  • The Business Development Coordinator for My Space, My Time (MSMT) will be critical in expanding market awareness, forging partnerships, and driving user adoption.
  • This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills to navigate the challenges of a startup.
  • The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and possess excellent communication, marketing, and social media management skills.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Partnerships:

  • Identify and engage potential partners, mental health professionals, and corporate clients.
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to increase provider sign-ups and user engagement.
  • Build relationships with community organizations, universities, and businesses to enhance MSMT’s market presence.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop strategies to position MSMT as a trusted platform for mental health services.

Marketing & Brand Awareness:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase MSMT’s visibility.
  • Create compelling content for social media, email campaigns, and digital platforms.
  • Manage and optimize social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
  • Coordinate influencer and brand ambassador partnerships for MSMT promotions.
  • Oversee digital advertising and ensure ROI on marketing efforts.

Operations & Growth Strategy:

  • Develop and execute lead generation and conversion strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to assess growth initiatives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and innovative approaches to market MSMT.
  • Work closely with the CEO and tech team to improve platform functionality and user experience.

Writing & Communication:

  • Develop proposals, presentations, and reports for stakeholders.
  • Draft content for MSMT blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Communicate effectively with potential partners and users to drive engagement.

Administrative & Reporting Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of business development activities.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to measure success.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on marketing and business growth activities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Business Growth & Revenue Generation:

  • Number of new providers onboarded onto MSMT per quarter.
  • Increase in user engagement and sign-ups (individuals seeking mental health services).
  • Percentage increase in strategic partnerships (universities, organizations, NGOs).
  • Conversion rate from leads to paying clients.

Marketing & Digital Presence:

  • Social media growth metrics (followers, engagement, shares, and mentions).
  • Effectiveness of marketing campaigns (click-through rates, conversion rates).
  • Monthly web traffic increase and lead generation through digital campaigns.

Operational Efficiency & Strategy Execution:

  • Time taken to develop and implement new business strategies.
  • Ability to identify and solve business challenges efficiently.
  • Turnaround time for reports, proposals, and marketing content creation.

Innovation & Market Penetration:

  • Implementation of innovative ideas that drive user acquisition.
  • Number of new market segments penetrated within a given timeframe.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Quality and effectiveness of proposals and reports submitted.
  • Positive feedback from partners and stakeholders.
  • Timeliness and clarity in communication with team members and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or a startup environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in social media management and digital marketing.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and embrace new ideas.
  • Experience working in mental health, healthcare, or tech startups is a plus.
