Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring that all designs meet safety, functionality, and cost-effectiveness requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development: Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products, ensuring functionality, durability, and compliance with relevant industry standards.
Overseeing the design stage, the fabrication/manufacturing process, and the installation, for quality delivery.
Solid conceptualization and understanding of fabrication and manufacturing of steel products like Tanks, Silos, structural steel platforms, steel staircases, canopy, Trusses roofing, agro processing machines, Prefabricated building, warehouses, Tank farm, and plants.
Engineering Analysis: Perform simulations and analysis (such as stress, thermal, fluid dynamics, etc.) to validate designs and identify potential issues.
Prototyping & Testing: Create prototypes, conduct testing, and evaluate performance to ensure mechanical systems meet project specifications and safety standards.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for designs. Ensure clear communication of design specifications to the team and stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work closely with product designers, electrical engineers, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into products.
Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Address mechanical failures or issues in existing systems, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Site supervising for the installation process, a foundation set out, level collection and transferring, on-site measurement, and translating architectural/plan drawing or blueprints to 3D modeling.
Steel Structural Modelling, Steel Detailing, and Drafting.
Sheet Metal works (hydraulic press shear cuttings Machine (Delem), Bending , Drilling , Rolling, spot welding, Punching, Forming, Jigs and fixtures, and QC Gauges)
Raw Materials Inventory Management (beams, profile steels, Irons, sheet metals)
Quality Assurance: Ensure mechanical designs meet quality control standards and are aligned with regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in mechanical engineering. Proactively identify and implement process improvements.
Daily report writing, waybill, and site parking list.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience (X years) in mechanical design and engineering, preferably in [industry-specific field].
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
Strong knowledge of materials, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mechanical system design.
Familiarity with engineering analysis tools (FEA, CFD, etc.).
Experience with prototyping, testing, and design validation.
Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., ASME, ISO, ASTM).
