We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Shift Incharge

Location: Ilorin, Kwara

Job Description

• Responsible for efficient daily shift production activities to assure operations are optimized.
• The primary activities of this position include the operation of the Production process, prioritizing and assigning proactive and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting issues and maintaining quality product output.
• The role also includes activities like repairing, day planning, procuring needed production materials, controlling spare parts inventory for rolls, sifters, purifiers, and other milling equipment.
• This is a shift people management position and requires managing hands-on training for new and existing millers, ensuring best practice execution and performing work quality checks.

Key Deliverables

• Lockout tag out.
• Permit to work.
• Reporting, recording and review.
• Bi-Monthly safety audit compliance.
• Workplace inspection and risk assessment.
• Driving safety rules.
• Full 100% compliance to agreed production targets and production specification.
• Maintaining Team discipline in all its ramifications along the lines.
• Regularly Train and retrain the Shift production team to ensure that lines are maintained in top condition.

Operational Effectiveness
Safety and Health:

• Support safety during Shift production operations
• Support safety culture during Shift production operations
• Ensure elimination of unsafe acts, conditions and near miss reporting (Safe Olam Reporting)
• Ensure strict compliance during shift toolbox talks
• Ensure strict PPE Compliance during Shift production operations
• Ensure compliance of 6 imperatives of safety.

Quality:

• Ensure agreed quality behaviours amongst the Shift production team
• Adherence to line settings during Shift
• Adherence to GMP during Shift
• Adherence to line clearance during Shift
• Ensure all the Shift processes are done right first time.

Cost Efficiency:

• Maintain Shift equipment effectiveness
• Deliver on Shift production target and product specification
• Ensure and encourage Autonomous Maintenance during Shift
• Maintain good rapport with Maintenance Team to achieve acceptable OEE.
• Track and ensure all milling activities such as grinding, extraction, etc that gives the best production during shift.
