Job Title: Construction Project Manager & Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in Quantity Surveying. 
• The ideal candidate will hold a PMP certification and be a member of CENG. This role involves overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 
• The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project specifications and ensure alignment with client objectives.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Oversee the procurement process for materials and services, managing supplier relationships to secure quality resources at competitive costs.
• Prepare and present project status reports and updates to stakeholders, including clients and senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities.
• Manage project budgets and conduct cost analysis and forecasting to avoid overruns and ensure fiscal responsibility.
• Resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle, including disputes, delays, and resource allocations.
• Implement best practices for construction management and quantity surveying to optimize project delivery and success.

Measurable KPIs

• Project completion rates within specified timelines and budget constraints.
• Number of successful projects delivered without major defects or safety violations.
• Maintaining a strong Client Satisfaction Score based on project performance evaluations.
• Accuracy of budget estimates versus actual costs incurred on projects.
• Improvement in project efficiency metrics, such as resource utiliza22tion and cost savings achieved through effective management practices.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• PMP certification and membership in CENG (or equivalent professional body).
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on quantity surveying or cost management.
• Demonstrated experience managing residential and commercial construction projects of varying sizes and complexities.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office Suite.

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills to manage a diverse project team effectively.
• Proven organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication skills to convey information clearly and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
