Job Title: English Language Tutor

Summary

• As an online English teacher in Bwari, you'll be responsible fordelivering engaging and effective English language lessons to student
• As an online English teacher in Bwari, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language lessons to students via online platforms, focusing on developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, while also providing feedback and tracking their progress.

Responsibilities

• Lesson Planning and Preparation: Develop and adapt lesson plans to suit the needs of different students and age groups, ensuring lessons are engaging and effective.
• Teaching and Instruction: Deliver online English lessons using various teaching methods and techniques, utilizing online tools and platforms.
• Student Engagement: Create a positive and interactive learning environment, encouraging student participation and fostering a love for learning English.
• Feedback and Assessment: Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress, identify areas for improvement, and track their learning outcomes.
• Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with students and parents/guardians, addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
• Curriculum Adherence: Ensure that lessons align with the established curriculum and learning objectives.
• Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and technologies, and participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, or a related field is preferred, with 1 - 3 years work experience.
• Experience: Previous experience as an English teacher, preferably with online teaching experience, is a plus.
• Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.
• Language Proficiency: Native or near-native English proficiency is required.
• Technology Skills: Proficiency in using online teaching platforms and tools is necessary.
• Patience and Flexibility: A patient and adaptable personality is crucial for working with diverse learners.
• Dedication to Students and Education: A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student success are highly valued.
